How does iCallerID work?

Incoming caller ID information

iCallerID works with your IP based phone system or VoIP calling service to show you who is calling while your desk phone is ringing.

When you install iCallerID on your iPhone or iPod touch you are issued a SIP URI (username@iCallerID-proxy.rf.com – it’s like an e-mail address, but for telephone calls over the Internet). You then configure your IP phone system to fork calls to your iCallerID SIP URI. That’s it. For help configuring your phone system, visit our support forum.
